Değişik konusuyla dikkat çeken bir Hollanda draması. Genç ve güzel yeni evli çift Eva ve Peter, çocuk beklediklerinden şehir dışında güzel bir mahallede büyükçe bir eve taşınırlar. Buradaki komşuları oldukça ilginç tipler. Özellikle karşı komşuları olan Rebecca ve Steven fazlasıyla rahat ve marjinaller. Doğum sonrası çocuklarını kaybederler. Bu Eva’yı da Peter’i de farklı olsa da etkiler. Peter baba olamamaktadır bu nedenle Eva bir donörden hamile kalmıştır. Bu garip durumlar, Peter ve Eva’yı rahat komşularına yakınlaştırır. Ama bu yakınlaşma ve iç içe geçen hayatlar nelere gebedir?

Peter and Eva, a nice young couple expecting their first child, buy a house in a suburban village. Before they get to move into their new home, they lose their baby girl. Eva has a hard time coping with her loss. Peter has mixed feelings. The baby wasn’t his to begin with.He’s infertile and hopes the chapter of having children has now come to an end. Then they meet their new neighbors Rebecca and Steve, a carefree outgoing couple, that helps them forget their pain. But are they really who they say they are?
